If you knew me you would know I have a dreamers heart. Today it is raining, its cold and there is not much else to do other then clean. Here I am, In a 700 square foot apartment and I am dreaming of wide open spaces. A little house with room for children and guest. Land to grow a garden on it and a stream for the kids to play in during the summer. I want to live in a small town, where I can learn all the peoples names, my children will grow up playing in the woods and horse riding, and I can be part of a church family. I want to live from my animals and land. I want to cook breakfast lunch and dinner for my family. I want television to be something we do once a week to watch a movie and otherwise not know. No more frozen food or canned food unless we planted it and canned it or froze it. I want to have an income that allows my husband and I to work together. I want to earn enough revenue to pay off peoples debts. I want to be like Jesus, a Debt canceler. I want to help my family retire without struggling for everything they have. I want to invite friends to live with us on our land and teach them how to work with it. I want to go on three month mission trips every year with my family, Or live over seas as missionaries. So with all this dreaming I decided to do some research and found what I want to grow and what kind of animals I want to raise. This is a short list and I am sure we will add to it but here is the starter list to my dream.
Jersey Cow for milk-1

The Prophet-Kahlil Gibran
Your hearts know in the silence the secrets of the days and nights. But your ears thirst for the sound of your heart's knowledge.

Just Keep Swimming!
So here I am, 26 married with a new baby and a very sweet puppy named Samson. Seems settled right? Well I thought so too, that is until we had a baby and I quit working. Every couple who makes the choice for the mom to stay at home with the kids makes a huge sacrifice. The sacrifice of an extra income. Right now we are learning to live with all our faith and trust in the lord to provide for us. When I was working it was so easy to forget that the lord is our provider. Why because I could measure our income to our bills and come out on top. The last five months I have not worked. With being put on bed rest and having our son my job was no longer an option for us. Talk about life moving in a crazy way. I have never not worked. Its so hard to surrender my control over finances. I am learning though that as I trust in the lord some how our bills are paid. Its amazing! So now for the endless adventure! We are trusting God for a house, two cars, all our bills to be paid on time and money to put into savings off of one income. Seems impossible..... Unless your a million air but for us normal folks it seems so out of reach but here is the thing, God loves Impossibilities! He loves to show that nothing is Impossible for him. So what is our part? Trusting him. He loves to give his children things. So where will our next home be? I have no Idea. What kind of cars will we have? No clue. Who will we meet? What will we be doing for Jesus? how many kids will we have? What Jobs will we have? Should we get another puppy for Samson to play with? Will we be in the states? What should I make for dinner? The possibility's are endless, exciting, scary, and some are yet to be discovered. While I used to be afraid of these possibilities I am now encouraged by them. Why? Because if you have Possibilities then you aren't dead. Your alive, living with a heart that beats in your chest. What you do with that life however long or short is up to you and how you handle your POSSIBILITIES. I am determined friends that no matter what the hardships are to "Just keep swimming" as Dori the fish says. I will be stronger when I get to my destination particularly when I have to swim against the current. Thank you Jesus for the test and trials!

Life is a lesson that needs a Teacher
In this life there are many lessons taught by many teachers. One of my greatest Teachers is my Aunt. When I was little my aunt told me that this life was about learning; that when we learned what we were supposed to in this life we would graduate on to the next. She said this earth is a school made to help us develop into higher beings. While I agree with this philosophy to an extant I have grown in my own understanding that you cannot learn everything there is to learn without a teacher. Someone to show you how growth takes place.
I propose a question to anyone who reads this, who taught all of our teachers? Wisdom, knowledge, and understanding must have started some where with someone. For me the understanding of who the great teacher is came at an early age although it would be years before I would learn to hear his voice in the whisper of the wind. For many who knew and know him he is much more then teacher. He is a love affair with the deepest passion for those he teaches. The greatest thing he has shown me about learning is that it takes a choice to listen to the teacher for knowledge to be gained. The teacher can never force you to learn. Which creates a ebb and flow to your relationship with the Teacher.
You must be wondering by now who this teacher of mine is, well he was called Rabbi which means teacher and called by many other names but for now we will call him by his most famous, Jesus. I hope that by my blog and life you may come to know more about him as I myself am being taught by him.
